UPDATE: Government forecasts 2019 grain harvest at 110 mln tns

MOSCOW, Nov 22 (PRIME) – Russia will harvest 110 million tonnes of grain in 2019, the Agriculture Ministry said in a presentation on Thursday.

Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev told reporters that the ministry has retained its grain export forecast for the 2018–2019 agricultural year at 38–39 million tonnes.

The harvest estimate of 110 million tonnes in 2018 will not grow significantly, he said.

The 2018–2019 agricultural year started on July 1, 2018 and will end on June 30, 2019.
